Delrin, also known as polyoxymethylene (POM) or acetal, is a high-strength, low-friction engineering plastic known for its excellent rigidity, dimensional stability, and resistance to various chemicals. 

Delrin is highly machinable and can be easily turned, drilled, milled, and cut using conventional machining tools or CNC. Its self-lubricating nature makes it easy to work with, producing little friction.
